A YEAR IN ACT HISTORY
1965

ACT Theatre 1965

Tennessee Williams' classic drama is the story of one family brought together for the celebration of the patriarch’s birthday. It is a play about the decline of the Southern family, a pulsing family drama that examines love, sex, greed and mortality. Always timely, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof shows audiences themselves, the inner workings of a family ripped apart by secrets , grief and deception. First produced in ACT’s opening season under the direction of ACT founder, Gregory Falls, Cat is returning to ACT’s stage for the 50th anniversary season.
